Poly foam and latex foams are open-cell foams, meaning there are millions of tiny air pockets in the mattress to facilitate circulation. This is in stark contrast to the closed cells of memory foam, which restrict airflow and result in a hot and uncomfortable sleep experience.

Our Reflections Collection in particular offers a diverse array of double-sided mattress options. Our continued inclusion of double-sided mattresses makes us somewhat unique, as they’re becoming rarer on the mattress market. For those who aren’t familiar with the concept, double-sided (or two-sided) mattresses can be flipped to essentially double the mattress’s useful life (if properly maintained).

Absolutely, we intentionally use materials that enhance air circulation and don’t absorb heat to ensure sleepers stay cool and comfortable all night long. Reasons our mattresses sleep cool include:

• Conventional foam (polyurethan foam) is an open cell foam, which allows the foam to breathe and disperse sleeper body heat. 
• Latex is a temperature neutral product. Latex does not absorb the heat put off from your body, keeping itself at room temperature.
• We use cool fabrics made from plant fibers on the very top layer of our mattresses, such as bamboo, aloe vera and organic cotton. The bamboo and aloe help sleepers stay a little cooler than cotton, but all three offer better temperature control than competing materials. The bamboo and aloe are also anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. 
• Some of our mattresses have a one inch to two inch wool top layer, which helps regulate sleep temperature.
